An incubator the size of the nation.

To our fellow Lebanese, residents and expatriates,

I address you today to propose a project that brings together the Lebanese people under the banner of unity, hope, and the revival of dreams for our generations, and for Lebanon, our homeland, to be a nurturing land for all its children.

The initiative is to launch Holding Lebanon S.A.L., a national-scale incubator aimed at uniting Lebanese citizens around a common goal: to support our children and youth in building their dreams within their own country, with the backing of their fellow citizens, both residents and expatriates.

Without any discrimination between Ali, Zebyan, or Joseph.

I once dreamed, upon returning from five years of work in the Gulf, of building my dreams within the military institution, an institution that meant, and still means, noble values for all Lebanese. But when I hit a dead end, I resigned and began my journey alone.

Today, I find it imperative that we restore hope to the future generations who were born in Lebanon and dream of a homeland where their dreams can come true. We must also restore hope to our young men and women who gained knowledge from our universities, yet emigrated when they found no fertile ground to achieve their hopes and aspirations.

I look to all of you with great hope, to be the investors and founders of Holding Lebanon S.A.L., a Lebanese joint-stock company: an incubator the size of the nation. An incubator in which all Lebanese, both residents and expatriates, contribute by purchasing only one share, with all shareholders having equal shares.

The capital from each funding cycle will be invested in youth projects inside Lebanon, targeting the world, in exchange for a certain percentage of equity in their companies. These entrepreneurs will later have the right to repurchase these shares upon their success, or remain within the incubator and benefit from the expertise of professionals who will be invited to invest in the incubator, and in those it selects across the nation.

In this way, the incubator’s profits will return to both investors and innovators, thus revitalizing our economy across legal institutions, universities, agriculture, industry, and technology, based on transparency, merit, creativity, and productivity within Lebanon.

I dream of seeing this project highlighted on television screens, calling on Lebanese residents and expatriates to invest by purchasing just one share, to promote innovation and Lebanese talent, on Lebanese land.

Every time someone fails, we all learn. Every time someone succeeds, Lebanon wins. The investors win, and so do the ambitious, creative minds.

Lebanon can rise again through the abilities of its people, its true human capital at home and abroad.

Let us join hands and become a people worthy of the world’s respect, and restore hope to our children.
